Dodgers Have Acquired Danny Duffy From The Kansas City Royals

Dodgers are reportedly acquiring Danny Duffy from the Kansas City Royals.

Royals general manager Dayton Moore said earlier this week that his injury will have him return within 3-to-4 weeks, Lynn Worthy of The Kansas City Star reports.

Duffy went down July 20 with a flexor strain in his left forearm, but Moore's comments Tuesday suggest the lefty will be back on the mound within a month. Duffy has been the Royals best starting pitcher in 2021, posting a 2.51 ERA and 65:22 K:BB in 61 innings across 13 outings. More details about his recovery and a specific return timeframe should become available very soon as this trade gets finalized.
