MLB-Gavin Newsom In Advanced Talks To Get Fans In Stands This Season

Could we be on our way back to Dodger Stadium this season? California Governor Gavin Newsom on Wednesday gave a COVID-19 health and safety update and brought up the fact that he has been in talks with the MLB to find away to get fans back in stands. Here is what he said:

Gavin Newsom says he’s in advanced talks with @MLB to allow fans to attend baseball games this season but adds only “if we all do our job,” wear masks, get vaccinated.

Opening Day for all teams is April 1, when the Dodgers will be on the road to face the Colorado Rockies. Opening Day at Dodger Stadium isn’t until April 9, for the start of a three-game series with the Washington Nationals.
