Kobe Bryant's Childhood Basketball Hoop Is Set To Hit Auction

Los Angeles Lakers v Houston Rockets

You want a piece of history? Now is your time to purchase. The basketball hoop Kobe Bryant practiced on as a kid in Pennsylvania will soon find a new home.

The hoop was included in the real estate listing for Bryant's childhood home in Wynnewood, Pennsylvania, which recently sold for $810,000.

The seller instead gave the item to an acquaintance, who then passed it along to John Romani at Sales By Helen to sell at an auction. Romani told TMZ Sports he plans to enter the hoop in Heritage's Platinum Night Auction on Feb. 20, and he wouldn't be surprised if its value reaches six figures.

Several other items of Bryant memorabilia will also be up for grabs in the Heritage auction, including a Michael Jordan Sports Illustrated magazine that was addressed to Bryant, and Duke basketballs the Lakers legend received while the Blue Devils were recruiting him.
