Dodgers-Indians Engaged In "Serious Talks" For Francisco Lindor

Could a major trade be in the works?

According to Bob Nightengale of USA Today, the Cleveland Indians and Los Angeles Dodgers are engaged in “serious” trade talks centered on Lindor.

The Los Angeles #Dodgers and Cleveland #Indians continue to be engaged in serious trade talks for Cleveland All-Star shortstop Francisco Lindor, with Cleveland seeking a package of Dodgers prospects including Gavin Lux and Dustin May.

Lindor debuted in 2015, finishing runner-up in AL Rookie of the Year voting and has been an All-Star the past four seasons. He won Gold Glove awards at shortstop in 2016 and 2019.

The shortstop hit .284 with 32 home runs last year and is one of the sport’s most exciting players. Cleveland’s prospect ask is huge, but if the Dodgers are committed to going for it, it may be worth it.
