Kawhi Leonard Purchases A $13.3 Million Home In San Diego

The Toronto Raptors traded for Kawhi Leonard this past offseason, they took a huge risk since Kawhi has reportedly expressed interest in heading back to his hometown of Los Angeles. Kawhi did something that caught the attention of many fans around the league.

According to Neal J. Leitereg of the Los Angeles Times, Leonard had recently purchased a $13.3 million home in Rancho Santa Fe which is in the San Diego area.

Leonard has paid $13.3 million for a home in the affluent San Diego County community. The purchase was made using a corporate entity that lists the two-time Defensive Player of the Year as manager, public records show.

Leonard has been linked to the Lakers and Clippers in the past and those rumors aren't going to be put to rest after the purchase of his new home.

Kawhi Leonard can become an unrestricted free agent after this season if he declines his 2019-20 player option with the Raptors, which he is likely to do since he will receive more money on the open market.
