Dodgers Are Looking To Move Matt Kemp This Offseason

The Winter Meetings officially kicks off today in Las Vegas and the Dodgers look to be one of the big players when it kicks off.

According to Ken Gurnick of MLB.com, will attempt to trade Matt Kemp this offseason. Kemp is due $21.5 million for 2019 which is also the final year of his contract. The Dodgers last season found a way to lessen their luxury tax by sending Adrian Gonzalez, Brandon McCarthy, Scott Kazmir and Charlie Cluberson to the Braves to bring Matt Kemp back to the Dodgers.

Kemp last season with the Dodgers was hitting .290/.338/.481 with 21 home runs and 85 RBI. Matt Kemp earned Players Choice Award for NL Comeback Player of the Year this past November.
