Bruin Bear Statue Vandalized In USC Colors

Tomorrow is the big UCLA vs. USC football game and it looks like the bad blood has already started. The well known Bruin Bear statue on the UCLA campus was vandalized by USC fans since they spray painted the bear with yellow and red paint as captured by Cristy Fajardo.

During rivalry week, the Bruin Bear is one of the monuments that requires extra security to stop people from vandalizing anything. But that didn't stop Trojans fans from getting to the bear which was locked up in a wooden box. UCLA police lieutenant talked about the incident that was in the Daily Bruin.

The only thing we have determined is that someone pried the wooden box open that the bear hibernates in this time of year

The Trojans who are currently 5-5, 4-4 Pac 12 desperately need a win vs. UCLA at the Rose Bowl tomorrow for them to have bowl eligibility. The game will be played tomorrow at 12:30 p.m. PT right here on AM 570 LA Sports for the first half of the game and will switch to AM 1150 for the second half of it.
