Lee Jenkins on the Lakers new 'system': "The way they were today to me isn’t a recipe for long-term success, but it gets them a win and it keeps them kind of engaged in the process. I still go back to the fact that with this much talent between these four guys who are built for the playoffs. If they keep at it they are going to find something that works for them. What I think is a little disconcerting for the Lakers is that today was almost like that ‘Bernie Bickerstaff-ball’ when they went 4-1; it was more like rolling the balls and Kobe was kind of coaching them on the floor and doing what he did. It wasn’t necessarily what you want to see or what the plan was when they brought in Mike D’Antoni, but none of that stuff has worked so its almost like you’ve got these 4 potential Hall of Famers figuring it out amongst themselves on the fly."
