In their Sunday night 29-3 throttling of the 49ers, the Seahawks achieved immortality in the Guinness Book of World Records when their fans reached a decibel level of 131.9, besting the old sporting-event mark of 131.76 for a soccer match in Istanbul.
The record-breaking moment: A Michael Bennett sack of Colin Kaepernick in the second quarter. But the 'Hawks fans were not done yet. In a defensive series (of course) in the third quarter, they actually bested their own mark by reaching a piercing 136.6. Ear plugs, please.
