LA Dodgers newly acquired starter Ricky Nolasco joined Jay Mohr Sports with Bill Reiter and Kirk Morrison. We asked him about coming home to play for his hometown Dodgers and his thoughts on Yasiel Puig's All Star candidacy...
Reiter: "Yasiel Puig, he's a rookie he's young, if it was up to you would you make him an All Star or would you have him wait a year?"
Nolasco: "I'd make him an All Star..The guy has broken a lot of records already in the last month..I mean why not? He's off to a great start....throw him out there if the fans want it."
Reiter: "The possible trade to the Dodgers was on the burner for a few weeks but you never really know until the trigger is pulled. What's it like knowing you're probably on your way out of a place, but being in limbo"?
Nolasco: "I knew my situation...I knew it was going to happen sooner or later, I was just trying to stay focused and not get excited thinking that I'm going to go somewhere and then it doesn't happen.. But, obviously I came to the Dodgers and it's a dream come true. I'm just excited to be here."
