I caught up with Mike Piazza on the Dodger minor league fields where he finished watching over Team Italia. Piazza is the team's hitting coach in the World Baseball Classic. He spoke to me and LA Times beat writer, Dylan Hernandez for 20 minutes. He clarified what he wrote in his book about what he meant about Vin Scully during the 1998 season, he talked about coming back to the Dodger organization one day, he also didn't shut the door on possibly returning to MLB as a coach one day.
