We talked a quite a bit about the upcoming Lakers season. Camp is winding down and the roster is rounding into shape. Eric Pincus from the LA Times and HoopsWorld joined us (interview link: here) to break it all down. Dwight Howard made his debut Sunday and if you were able to see it (which in LA makes you a rare and special breed of TV customer), there is only one reaction: excitement. Seriously, he looks great.

Stemming from our discussion of real life college football player Jadeveon Clowney, and his amazing name, Kevin Figgers and I have now been talking about this sketch from Key and Peele for three weeks. Just watch it. One of the funniest sports related comedy pieces I’ve seen in a long time.
