As I write this I am super bummed out.
The Dodgers just blew a game to the Padres in extra innings when they had led by two runs late. The boys in blue cannot afford to blow these types of games down the stretch. The lesson as always, is that relief pitchers are the worst.
(Especially when they make $4,750,000 a year. Looking at you Matt Guerrier…and you Ned Colletti.)
To lift myself from this malaise and perk up my spirits, a journey to YouTube was made. Here now are the best Dodgers themed videos from throughout the years that will hopefully bring you the same amount of joy they have brought me, and make us all forget about the Dodgers choke job, even if for just a moment.
1) The Dodgers Song by Danny Kaye, acted out by Legos. Nostalgia takes on two forms in old school baseball talk and your favorite childhood activity. Seriously, how great were Legos.
2) The 1986 Dodgers perform The Baseball Boogie. Nice moves dudes. MVP goes to Orel Hershiser for his extreme commitment, but great job by the whole team.
3) Between Two Palm Trees with AJ Ellis. Clayton Krenshaw better get his act together, it’s not a great idea to piss off your catcher.
Feel better? Yeah, me neither. Oh well, it’s just a game right? RIGHT?
