With so much uncertainty with current Dodger free agents, the one player that will be here next year and hopefully years to come is Trea Turner.

Trea Turner talked about the possibility with Fabian Ardaya from the The Athletic recently about being a part of this organization for years to come in the future.

For me, actions speak louder than words. I’m not going to worry about anything like an extension until there’s something in front of me. I think this is a great franchise. Being on a team, part of a franchise that wants to win not only this year but for a long time is very valuable and a lot of fun. … I don’t know if that will happen or won’t happen, but like I said, I’m not gonna waste my energy on guessing.

Turner was fantastic with the Dodgers in the regular season, as he hit .338 with an OPS of .950. In 52 games with Los Angeles, Turner hit 10 home runs and drove in 28 runs. On the season between LA and Washington, he hit 28 home runs and posted a bWAR of 6.5.
