Dodgers Make A Series Of Moves Ahead Of Tonight's Dodgers-Pirates Game

Los Angeles Dodgers middle infielder Gavin Lux has been activated from the 10-day injured list as the Dodgers just announced. Lux has been sidelined since July 19 with a left hamstring strain.

With Lux sidelined, shortstop Corey Seager returned from the injured list and the club acquired middle infielder Trea Turner to play second base. Lux was struggling on the year with a .227 batting average to go along with six home runs and 37 RBI and his role moving forward will be that of a bench player.

In a flurry of moves, the Dodgers also recalled relief pitcher Evan Phillips and optioned pitchers Andre Jackson and Conner Green.
