Yesterday, Las Vegas Raiders defensive end Carl Nassib comes out as gay, making him the first active player in NFL history to do so. The 28-year-old also announced a $100,000 donation to The Trevor Project, a suicide prevention organization for LGBTQ youth. Jericka Duncan reports.
Today, many fans across the NFL show support for Nassib because according to Adam Schefter, Raiders’ DE Carl Nassib is the top-selling NFL jersey across Fanatics network network both yesterday and today.
Nassib is going in his sixth season in the NFL and this is his second season with the Las Vegas Raiders.
