The Los Angeles Dodgers and Padres had been going at it all night in their first meeting of 2021 and things got extremely heated in extra innings.
After Los Angeles’ pitcher Dennis Santana hit Jorge Mateo to put runners on first and third with one out, they exchanged words and shortly after that moment, both benches would come out for a meeting. In the midst of pitchers coming out of the bullpen, one fan decided he wanted a piece of the action as well. Unfortunately for him, security was all over it and tackled him down to the ground.
It was the most widely anticipated matchup in baseball this season, built up so much over these past six months and this game between the Los Angeles Dodgers and the San Diego Padres absolutely lived up to the hype.
