Possible Discipline Coming For Justin Turner From Major League Baseball

When the Dodgers the 2020 World Series championship last week, the on-field celebration was Justin Turner. Turner was removed after testing positive for COVID-19 yet he returned to the field for the celebration, and was photographed maskless and in close proximity with teammates at times. Now the MLB is close to a disciplining Turner for Game 6 according Ken Rosenthal:

MLB and the Players Association are moving closer to a resolution on Justin Turner, sources tell The Athletic. Potential discipline aside, these questions remain: Is Turner experiencing symptoms? How did Turner become infected inside a supposedly secure bubble?
Other questions include: Does Turner, after being removed from the game in the eighth inning, plan to apologize for returning to the field to celebrate? Will the episode affect the Dodgers’ decision on whether to re-sign him as a free agent?

The ruling will likely come either tomorrow or Friday.
