Rick Monday shares a story about when Joe DiMaggio was the hitting coach of the Oakland A's when he was playing there.
He said hey kid you are not going to make the road trip tomorrow. You are going to work out with me, we are going to work on the hitting and I am going to wear you out then runs sprints then I am going to beat your rear end on the golf course.
Joe is sitting there and we are in uniform and he has his legs crossed. I am sitting next to him and I am looking at this picture and I have my legs crossed almost the same way. I was in awe of this man.
