Average Asking Price For Lakers-Warriors Christmas Game Is $1292

If you want to go to Golden State Warriors and Los Angeles Lakers game this Christmas, get ready to pay up. 

According to secondary ticket marketplace TicketIQ.com, demand for the game is so high that it is the highest in a decade of Christmas Day games. Fans have pushed the average asking price to $1,292. The next most expensive December 25 game in history was the 2015 Warriors-Cleveland Cavaliers game which was priced at $1,011. That game was a rematch of the 2015 Finals, in which the Warriors beat the Cavs in six games. 

The average asking price is $1,292 while the get in price is $280. This game marks the first of four times the Lakers and Warriors will play this season, and it will be LeBron James’ first game against the Warriors since joining the Lakers in the offseason. TicketIQ.com says this year’s average asking price across all five Christmas Day is $514.54 which is the highest of the decade.
