Manny Machado Clarifies His "Hustle" Comments

Four-time All-Star Manny Machado is getting ready to head into free agency where he will be one of the best free agents of the market. During the post season he made comments related to "hustling" which made a lot of questions come up. He sat down with MLB's Mark Feinsand to defend his comments

"When I was asked that question, I was definitely on the defensive, and I was wrong to answer it the way that I did, because looking back, it doesn't come across how I meant it. For me, I was trying to talk about how I'm not the guy who is eye wash. There's a difference between fake hustle for show and being someone who tries hard to win. I've always been the guy who does whatever he can to win for his team."

It is very clear that Manny Machado and Bryce Harper are the two top free agents going into the winter and could be looking for a contract in the $300-$400 million range.
