Kareem Abdul-Jabbar Talks Lakers, Dancing with the Stars

NBA icon Kareem Abdul-Jabbar joins Rodney Peete, Beto Duran and Metta World Peace to discuss his upcoming stint on Dancing with the Stars, as well as the Lakers' offseason.

The 7-2 Abdul-Jabbar is dancing with his 5-4 partner Lisa Arnold. On his appearance: "I originally thought I'd look foolish...but now I'm just out there repping the Baby Boomers."

In addition, he gave his stance on what the Lakers need to do this offseason. 

"They have a fine nucleus of young players. They do need one or two guys to lead them and make those young players cohesive."

Healso identified Isaiah Thomas as someone Laker executives Magic Johnson and Rob Pelinka need to retain.

"They need someone to lead the offense...he's incredibly capable at point guard."

Dancing with the Stars airs this Monday at 8 P.M. PT on ABC.
