Both of Los Angeles' professional basketball teams have turned heads in a positive way this week, as NIKE revealed its NBA City Edition uniforms for the current season.
The uniforms, which aim to honor both team and city history, have been a hit among Clippers and Lakers fans. The Clippers' threads pay tribute to the team's current home in L.A., as well as their roots in San Diego. Meanwhile, Kobe Bryant helped design some Mamba-themed jerseys for the Lakers.

Per USA Today:
"We found that finding the intersection between those two things is what defined each team's program," Elesban Montoya, a senior graphic designer at Nike, said. "We felt like we had to define the fabric of the city. Every detail on that uniform truly became a reflection of what their narrative was to be."
